Problems with i.PH

I am so sorry for not updating for almost two weeks. I promised to update this blog often but i failed. I am having problems logging in to my account here on i.PH that's why i had a short hiatus.

Loving Carlo ReLaunch!

Yehey! Carlo's Blog has a New Cuteey Banner! Credits to my dear friend and Carlo's online sister, Sheyna of Banana Fartworks (check her pictures and her artworks-they're really good!). When Carlo saw it, he smiled and he was staring at thepicture then he kissed me at the cheeks

Anyway, I would like to apologize to everyone who had been bugging me about this blog. I'm so sorry if I didn't pay much attention to the blog but then it's never too late, right? And besides, I've decided that I'd be blogging everything related to Carlo in here- whether it's positive or anything regarding his case.

I made seven entries that are all in draft mode! I'll be uploading some videos as well so i hope you'd  check it out. My purpose is for everyone to know how it is to live with someone special at home (oops.. not a boyfriend or a hubby LOL).

I'll be fixing the other entries. Thank you so much for dropping by the blog

That is the chant popularized by Shasha and Tintin when they are about to transform from ordinary kids to super heroine Super S and Super T.

Obviously, this show is very appealing to kids because of the storyline and the characters. Carlo loves it too and even sings the themesong simple titled "Alinlangan", which was written by my favorite actor/singer/composer Micheal V. and was interpreted by Jolina Magdangal.

I made a similar post on the first week of the show and now it's going to end already. I believe that the show got a high rating compared to the show in the other channel but maybe it's really time to go. Next in line is a drama soap opera which still involves twin sisters starring Iza Calzado and my ever favorite, Mommy Bakeks.. este Sunshine Dizon!

Carlo’s 12th Birthday

Last Wednesday, my little brother finally turned twelve years old. He had a birthday celebration in school. I was not there because I am not aware that my lolo decided to have the celebration on Tuesday. They took advantage of the fact that almost all of the students in Special Class are present and I'm pretty sure my brother enjoyed it. Too bad there are no photos! I was at home helping out my bestfriend Lecel since its her graduation day.

I saw Carlo's smile when I woke up. He was beside me singing Vic Magsaysay's campaign jingle.

"HAppy Birthday Carlo!"

"Hapi Hertdai!" he replied

"Birthday mo Carlo. Happy birthday!"

"Hertdai!"

No one knows that I was able to save half of my BlogToProfit earnings for a little something for his birthday. I asked Ate Virgie to but the ingredients of pancit. Nagpancit kami for a longer life for my baby (baby?) brother.

I wentto school hoping to check my grades unfortunately, not all the teachers were able to finish our grades yet. I am hoping to get better grades now. I went to the Dean's office to to get my recommendation letter for my internship here in Manila.

After a tiresome afternoon, I decided to go to the market to buy some toys for Carlo. I bought 6 toys for a hundred bucks which includes:

              * Teks Cards (Asian Treasures and two other anime.. i was hoping to get Super Twins though)

              *Toy Truck

               * Cutie Turtle

               * Airplane

               * Toycar

               * doreamon stickers

I was amazed when I found this sticker book containing 250 stickers of Doreamon, his favorite Cartoon for only Php 10!

I originally planned to have my gifts wrapped, but he found it out agad hehe

Overview on LovingCarlo - The Special Boy turns 12!

As I have mentioned in my personal blog, I'm planning to make a simple blogsite dedicated to my brother Carlo who is an autistic child. I'll be sharing my day-to-day experiences as a sister to a special child. All the joys, pains and inspiration that only he can offer.

lot of people have misunderstood the real meaning of Autism. Some people call them names such as "sira-ulo", "sintu-sinto" etc. I'll be honest that I'm already used to stares of strangers especially when I'm with him. He is a hyperactive kid.. very hyper!

Juan Carlos Rodriguez loves music. He can adapt to tunes easily and he also loves to draw. He is currently enrolled in an one-on-one SPED program in Dagupan City and I can see much improvement in him.

There are times wherein I feel like I'm an irresponsible sister. Why? because I seldom check his weekly developments. There are also times wherein I'd choose to go out with friends that spend the weekend with him. Well I've changed a bit. He needs me more since he's growing up as a tall young teenager.

Today he's turning 12 years old and this is one of my presents to him. I'm planning to buy some toy truck and candies wrapped in a colorful paper.

Carlo is really fascinated with Flags specifically, the Philippine Flag

"Bayang Magiliw Perlas ng Silanganan"

My brother keeps on singing our National Anthem everytime he makes his own flag. He even made his own KKK flag and yeah, an American Flag.

Don't you know that my brother is a big help to the ECSSA Officers during the quiz show?

He made this red flag and blue flag and he used our BBQ sticks, then an idea popped in my head: Kapag Wrong ang sagot, color Blue ang itataas ng facilitator. Kapag red, Tama ang sagot.

* In case you didn't know, my brother is a special child. He is autistic but despite of his condition, he never fails to make me smile

One lazy afternoon, my brother Carlo  and I decided to lie down the bd. He turned the radio on while we were enjoying the cool breeze of the aircon

C: Ate
M: o bakit? (Carlo punched me at my right arm)
C: (Smiling)
M: Aba! Ikaw Carlito boy sumosobra ka na ha! Mabait ka lang sa akin
kung gusto mong mag CSI (Mall) or Mc Do!
C: Jollibee!
M: Jollibee? Hay Carlo tumigil ka wala akong pra
C: (Nilabas ang ATM Card ko) Cheeseburger, Cok, Ice Cream, Fwench fwies, Chicken Joy, Spagetti
M: Sige maglabas ka ng pera sabihin ko sayo yung PIN
C: (Punched me- again!)
M: CARLO! Badboy ka! Alis!
C: Don't Shaw! (means don't shout)
M: Sisigaw ako kung gusto ko and i will shut up if I want to!
C: SHATAF!!! (Shut up)
M: I hate you! (sabay walk out)
C:(Hinila ako sa bed and looked straight in my eyes). Ate, Sorry (sabagy kiss)
M: Ano bang klaseng kiss yan? Walang tunog!
C: Sorry (Hugged and kissed me)
M: Carlo ang bigat mo!
C: Sorry (kiss ulit)
M: Kundi ka lang cute eh! (smiles)
C: I love you forever! Sorry! (kiss ulit)
M: Tama na hindi na talaga ako makahinga ang bigat mo
C: MC do? CSI? Cheeseburger!
M: Sige na nga ito P100 bili ka na
C: Thank You. I love you… bye bye ate! (kiss ulit)
